Rough Mockups to Envision Initial Ideas

Before I start finalising and refining my ideas, I wanted to experiment further without layouts and compositions to ensure my designs would work appropriately. The images below show what my drawings would look like on items from the requested collection, including a card, gift bag, wrapping paper and a notebook.

I feel the images were really successful as experimentation where showing to myself potential outcomes. This reassured me that my illustrations on these different items would certainly be visually pleasing - it is now about refining and expanding my designs. As a result of this, I asked myself various questions where looking to move forward;

Do i like the colours used?

Do they fit against the background colours?

What other options could i consider for background colours?

Are there any other types of designs or drawings that i could add to the background?

Would adding to the background take focus away from the main flowers? Will quotes be used across the whole range, or just the more appropriate products, such as the cards and the notebook?
