The digital sketches on this page are just some basic line drawings to start practicing the ideas I have...a big part of this project will be deciding on a product name, that will need to be a culmination of all the elements that represent the chocolate. The sketches here show the different ways I could position the logo, varying in size and alignment. Do I want the packaging to be text heavy or illustration heavy?

How big will i want the logo to be? Will i want it to the top of the packaging or the bottom? Do I want it to be framed or bordered?

Selecting a collection of what I see as more neutral, mature, toned down colours, I applied them to the initial line drawings, just to practice composition and colour placement. It made me realise that i really like the lighter, toned down pink effect, a colour that also goes with the brown of chocolate!
